My first painting from the studio.
I love the hobbit and wanted to paint something from that.
Although I painted it here. I was getting advice from my teacher and fellow student. In class we bounce ideas off one another. Here it’s just me. So I send a photo to them and they help me with ideas and techniques
Everytime I think I’m done I spot something else I don’t quite like and then change it.
That’s the danger of having it right here. You can’t just walk away.
But you have to eventually say it’s done.
Me posting it here says it’s done to me. And that I need to walk away happy
Now I’m ready to start a new project.

ReplyDeleteI just love this! I've always wanted to live in a Hobbit residence. I'd sit in that chair by the front door, soak up the sunshine, smell the beautiful flowers around me, and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
